The overarching goal of this project is to help humans identify remote objects and retrieve them.

 

We were inspired by the Mars 2020 Rover, which has the ability to take soil from Mars’ surface and package it into containers that can be transported back to Earth.

 

Our aim is to develop a companion robot for the Mars 2020 rover, which will have the ability to retrieve the containers packaged by Mars 2020 and deliver them to a specified location.
